'What Do We Treasure' Writing

Yesterday Mrs Ray opened her treasure chest and shared what she treasured the most, her family, her job, books, animals, her culture, nature, and her health. We then wrote about what we treasure the most. 

I treasure my nanny and my cat because it is fluffy. I treasure my dolls because they are fun to play with and my balloons. And I treasure my book with my nanny. My nana reads my book to me. It was funny to read. I laughed at my book.

In the weekend I played sniper 10 on my iPad. I had 2 snipers in one in Kay gun. When your names are green you're the high score point. So when my name is green I was the high score point. I played it with my dad. I felt happy.

We hope all the special ladies had a lovely day last Sunday and enjoyed their special clay treats we made them.

Puppies and Puppets!

We were lucky enough to have Madison's small Toy poodle called Puddles visit Room 21. We loved how soft she was!! 

Road Safety Puppet Show

Today Dan and his puppet friends visited the Junior school to talk about being safe by the road and in our cars. 

Our students really enjoyed learning about such a serious and important topic in such a fun way.

What Do We Treasure?? What is Treasure?

Welcome back to Term 2!!  This week we have started our inquiry into 'What do we treasure?". First, we wondered what we think treasure is and then what we treasure.  We will do this again at the end of our inquiry.  

Mrs Ray also found a treasure chest and brought it into class.  We had to describe it and guess what is inside.  We will open it in a few weeks.

Our First 6 Year old and Welcome Ava-Lee

During the holidays Xavier turned 6!  We were very spoilt on our last day of Term 1 by his Mum bringing some cupcakes and milk to share with us.  Happy birthday, Xavier.

 A big welcome back to Ava-Lee!  We are so happy for you to join Room 21.

Darcy The Mouse Visits Us

On the last day of Term 1 Mrs Ray brought her pet mouse to share with us.  We loved having Darcy run around the room in her ball while we worked and we even learnt a little about mice!
