At 12.00 it was spitting and a bit windy so we were very worried the balloon would not come! At 12.15 Mr Oliver said they were going to give it a go so all the school went out to the field. We watched the balloon be filled first, with a fan blowing air and then with hot air from the propane burners. The noise was very loud like a WOOSH! The hot air had nowhere to go so it made the balloon fill up and rise up! Mr Oliver went in the balloon!
We have learnt a lot about balloons and made this chart before we went out to see the balloon.
