We then put three pieces of white bread into snap lock bags. One piece had bread popped straight in from the bread bag, the next Mrs. Ray popped in wearing gloves and the last we all rubbed our hand onto. We wonder what will happen to the bread?

On Friday we planted our own sunflower seeds in a recycled container. We all got to take them home to grow. We promised to put them in a warm spot and water them a little each day.

Daffodil Day
Today we had a stunning day for raising money for the Cancer Society. We had a lovely assembly and jump jam and then drew some lovely chalk pictures with the entire school! We raised $600!
Hiwi The Kiwi
We were very lucky to have The Minstrel and his Wife come to Pukete on Monday. He taught us about saving our oceans, sea birds and ourselves with some great songs. We loved singing and dancing with him.

More Things are Growing! Welcome Back Lilly
As the days go by, we have noticed our seeds growing! Look at our beans, cress and carrot tops! They must have sunlight, water, space and soil to grow!
We even have a been maze! What do the think the bean will do inside this dark box with only light coming from the top?
We made our own bean glasshouses to watch the seed germinate!
Our growth wall is growing!!!
