What is our Favourite Super Hero in Room 2?

 We first had to survey everyone in the class what the question "Who is your favourite superhero?" We learnt how to take tally marks and ask a question.  We really enjoyed this part!

Next, we talked about what we found out and made a pictograph to show our information.  

We found out that Cat woman was the favourite superhero and Batman and Thor was the least favourite.

Kelly Sports and Painting Tron Rocks

It was such a busy Friday! We had some fun trying out Kelly sports to see if we wanted to join it after school on Mondays.  It was great fun!

Then we had a go at painting super virtue Tron Rocks! We love how they turned out and will hide them somewhere for others to find.

Super Kids Use Their Virtues

We have been working very hard on using Pukete's 5 main Virtues of Caring, Courage, Respect, Responsibility and Resilence. Together we wrote our Class 'How to be a superhero in Room 2' Rules and signed our name beside it.

We also did some cool role plays showing how we could use our virtues.

On Friday we created some cool Super Kids art.  We used bright pastels and coloured in a superhero body.  Mrs Ray added our own photos and BAM POP POP we have some cool art!

Swimming and Discovery Time

We had our first swimming time on Thursday and it was great! We all used the virtue of courage getting in for the first time! It was great.

We also got to have our first Discovery time with Mrs Rays special toys.  We loved it and used the virtues of respect and responsibility to look after everything. We also worked together to well and were such great sharers of the toys.

Our First Day Together

Wow! What a great day we had today. Such a super bunch of learners we are. 
 Look at our cool masks we made that turned us into SUPERKIDS!

Our Last Day Together 2016

We had such great farewell on our last day in Room 2.  We arrived to a farewell from Tinsel and the had a blast with the parachute!
